Photographs of wedding and reception for the sum of R                             .

The following items may be included: Complete coverage of the wedding, preparation (at ceremony site), ceremony and reception (over no more than one day), utilizing two digital cameras and photographers. Editing of the completed product, images, and one low resolution disk.

It is agreed that: Gurling Bothma Photography retains copyright of the images produced. The client will assign a person to advise Gurling Bothma Photography about the order of service, other special events and to provide a few minutes warning before important speeches/events. Every attempt will be made to ensure that the photography will be conducted unobtrusively, and will not get in the way of the proceedings. Every attempt will be made to respect the religious and other conventions in effect during the ceremony/reception. The selected package photographs will be available within 1 month following the wedding. The deposit is non-refundable. It is agreed that payment will be made in two installments as follows:

Deposit: At time of contract signing (25% of cost)

At time of delivery: (75% of cost)

If applicable, Gurling Bothma Photography will remain at the reception until such time as the photographers consider that the celebration has essentially ended. This may be before all the dancing has ended, but not before essential events such as cake cutting, speeches, etc. Gurling Bothma Photography will notify either the bride or the groom prior to photographer’s scheduled departure from the reception.

Guests and/or wedding party members may be photographed while they are dining, unless requested to avoid such photographs. In case of a change in the date of wedding, Gurling Bothma Photography may allow the booking to be moved to the new date if this date is open in their calendar and at their sole discretion. If this is not possible, the photography deposit will be forfeited by the client.

“Acts of God”- Gurling Bothma Photography will not be held liable in the event of fire, casualty, acts of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, resulting in the loss of photographic material. Gurling Bothma Photography shall return the amounts paid by the client and shall have no further liability with respect to the agreement.

Inclement weather- Gurling Bothma Photography will not be held liable in the event of environmental conditions beyond their control and reserves the right to decline photography outdoors in inclement weather if that may damage equipment. The client is responsible for alternate locations for any photographic services.

Inherent Defects- Although backup equipment for most essential items is carried, Gurling Bothma Photography is not liable for damages, including but not limited to delay or omission arising from inherent equipment defects or fault, or other causes beyond Gurling Bothma Photography’s control.

Client releases and authorizes Gurling Bothma Photography to use images, names, sounds, and any reproductions and/or recordings for promotional purposes. I authorize /Do not authorize Gurling Bothma Photography to post images of the wedding on the website: www.wedingz.co.za . These images will be posted only after you receive the final product. In return, Gurling Bothma Photography agrees to use the same in good faith and in good taste. It is understood that all raw as well as edited photographic images remain the property of Gurling Bothma Photography.

Gurling Bothma Photography takes utmost care with respect to the delivery of the products and services ordered. Gurling Bothma Photography will return all deposits in the event Gurling Bothma Photography is unable to photograph the wedding or any portion of the wedding due to sudden and serious illness, family emergency, accidents, or uncontrollable and unforeseeable auto or equipment failure. In such cases, Gurling Bothma Photography’s liability will be limited to a maximum full refund of all client monies received.

Meal request- We appreciate the same meal served to other guests and seating at the reception (if applicable) as we are not able to leave the venue.

The proposal may be withdrawn by Gurling Bothma Photography if not accepted within 21 days.

Acceptance of proposal- The above prices, specifications and conditions are satisfactory and are hereby accepted. Gurling Bothma Photography is authorized to do the work as specified. Payment will be made as outlined above.

Your digital wedding photographs will be archived for three years after your wedding. Gurling Bothma Photography will not be held liable in the event of fire, casualty, acts of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, resulting in the loss of recorded material.
